three.hundred.and.fourteen.

today a coworker proved to me that hiding the real you from the people you work with isn't necessary.

she told us about her trip to greece. and not just about the sites she saw and the things she did, but also about the boy she met and the things they did.

without hesitation. and many times.

i was so proud of her.

it was refreshing to see that there are people who aren't afraid to be themselves. and it was a good reminder that people can love you for who you are, even in a setting that makes it difficult to do so.

so to michelle dias, thank you for being my inspiration today.
for reminding me to be myself.
and that, in doing this very thing, everything feels right.

i mean it does, doesn't it?
i suppose i should be asking a certain boy named jason for that answer ...

and to the rest of you, try today to be the person you know you are.
or the one that you always want to be but never pull out for fear of finding out that people don't accept you.
today let's all be us.
it'll be fun, i promise.
